Youth Conference
Uncertainty, fear, chaos, and confusion are words that describe the future for many in this generation. Does God really want us to live with emotions that leave us frustrated and without direction? Living victoriously is not dependent upon our abilities, personalities, or circumstances. The challenges of the twenty-first century are too great for us to conquer ourselves. The secret lies in Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” We will be sending our kids to Youth Conference 2010 where they will be introduced to the power of God. Register at the church office on or before March 7th.
I am glad you care about quality. The problem is that not enough individuals take the time to embrace talent. It’s a bigger issue at hand. The business as a whole is oversaturated. We need to begin to teach the youth and new generations about the culture as a whole. :) :)
I appreciate your perspective, but I think the kids of this generation already have a natural inclination to embrace our culture and conform to its worldly philosophies. It is the responsibility of the New Testament church to teach on righteousness and holiness so this generation might desire to be transformed more into the image of Christ. (Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God).
